[AIDS Research Alliance] The AIDS Research Alliance of America (ARA) is a national leader in fast-track independent AIDS research tackling HIV on multiple fronts by striving to develop vaccines and microbicides that prevent the further spread of HIV, strategies to prevent new HIV infections, improve the health of people living with HIV/AIDS, and creating Reservoir Ablative Strategies (RAS) that could eliminate HIV from infected individuals.

[America's Second Harvest] America's Second Harvest, the nation's largest charitable hunger relief organization, feeds America's hungry through a nationwide network of member food banks and engages our country in the fight to end hunger. America's Second Harvest Network secures and distributes more than 2 billion pounds of donated food and grocery products annually. Through their programs the network is also able to provide safe and nurturing places for children to have a meal; emergency food assistance to disaster victims; and a chance at self-sufficiency for adults trying to break the cycle of poverty and hunger.

[American Indian College Fund] The American Indian College Fund provides scholarships and other support for the nation's tribal colleges and universities. Tribal colleges, the vast majority of which are located on or near reservations, provide opportunity and access to post-secondary education where once there was none. Offering accredited degrees while keeping Indian culture and tradition at the heart of their curricula, tribal colleges are changing the face of Indian education, one graduate at a time.

[American Kidney Fund] The American Kidney Fund is our nation's #1 source of direct financial assistance to kidney patients, and is a leader in providing education to those with and at risk for kidney disease. Kidney failure is a devastating diagnosis. Our primary mission to alleviate the financial hardship that often accompanies the disease and can compromise the delivery of vital care. Our programs help to fill the gaps in coverage and care for kidney patients and our advocacy supports similar efforts.

[American Red Cross] The American Red Cross is where people mobilize to help their neighbors down the street, across the country and around the world in emergencies. The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers, guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement, provides relief to victims of disasters and helps people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies.

[Big Brothers Big Sisters] It isn't easy being a kid these days. In these complex and confusing times, children need a caring adult to be a mentor and a friend, someone they can talk to, have fun with, and learn from. Research shows that our mentoring works. Kids with a Big Brother or Big Sister show real differences in their personal and academic lives.

[Boys & Girls Club of America] Boys & Girls Club programs and services promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence. Boys & Girls Clubs are a safe place to learn and grow, all while having fun. They are truly "The Positive Place For Kids."

[Cancer Care] CancerCare is a national nonprofit organization that provides free, professional support services to anyone affected by cancer: people with cancer, caregivers, children, loved ones, and the bereaved. CancerCare programs (including counseling, education, financial assistance and practical help) are provided by trained oncology social workers and are completely free of charge. Founded in 1944, CancerCare now provides individual help to more than 91,000 people each year, in addition to the 1.6 million people who gain information and resources from our website.

[Cancer Research Institute] The Cancer Research Institute was founded in 1953 to foster the science of cancer immunology, which is based on the premise that the body's immune system can be mobilized against cancer. This field, which CRI helped pioneer and develop, has been recognized throughout the world as offering great hope for the ultimate prevention and treatment of human cancer. CRI has been a sustaining force in cancer and immunology research supporting more than 2,780 scientists and clinicians at leading universities and research centers worldwide.

[Child Find of America] Child Find of America, Inc. is dedicated to the prevention and resolution of child abduction. Child Find offers America's families free investigation & location services, free kidnapping prevention programs, free referral & support services and free mediation services for parental abduction cases.

[Compassion International] Compassion International exists as a Christian child advocacy ministry that releases children from spiritual, physical, economic and social poverty and enables them to become responsible, fulfilled Christian adults. Compassion helps more than 800,000 children in 24 countries.

[Conservation Fund] The Conservation Fund is the nation's foremost environmental nonprofit dedicated to protecting America's most important landscapes and waterways for future generations. The Conservation Fund pioneers a balanced, non-advocacy, non-membership approach to conservation, one that blends environmental and economic goals and objectives. Since its founding in 1985, the Fund has helped its partners safeguard wildlife habitat, working farms and forests, community greenspace, and historic sites totaling nearly 6 million acres nationwide

[Cystic Fibrosis Foundation] The mission of theCystic Fibrosis Foundation is to assure the development of the means to cure and control cystic fibrosis and to improve the quality of life for those with the disease.

[Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind] Since 1946, the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind, Inc. has provided guide dogs free of charge to blind people who seek enhanced mobility and independence. Our students come to us from all over the U.S. and many foreign countries. We have successfully trained hearing-impaired blind people as well as many physically challenged people. We are supported entirely by donations and receive no government funding.

[Hispanic Scholarship Fund] The vision of theHispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) is to strengthen the country by advancing college education among Hispanic Americans. In support of its mission to double the rate of Hispanics earning college degrees, HSF provides the Latino community more college scholarships and educational outreach support than any other organization in the country.

[Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund] The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund provides support for the families of military personnel lost in service to our nation, and for severely wounded military personnel and veterans. The Fund has provided unrestricted grants to spouses and dependent children of married and parents of unmarried servicemembers.In January 2007, the Fund completed construction of a $40 million world-class state-of-the-art physical rehabilitation center at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas.

[Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research] The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease within the decade through an aggressively funded research agenda and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today.

[National Alliance to End Homelessness] The National Alliance to End Homelessness works collaboratively with the public, private, and nonprofit sectors to build state and local capacity, leading to stronger programs and policies that help homeless individuals and families make positive changes in their lives.

[Scholarship America] Scholarship America's mission is to make postsecondary education possible for all students. Scholarship America Scholarship America has partnered with other organizations to administer scholarship funds for dependents of those killed and permanently disabled in the terrorist attacks of 9/11, students affected by hurricanes and community college students at risk of dropping out due to a financial emergency.

[United Negro College Fund] The United Negro College Fund (UNCF) provides operating funds and technology enhancement services for 39 member historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs), scholarships and internships for students at about 900 institutions, and faculty and administrative professional training.

[Wildlife Conservation Fund] The Wildlife Conservation Society saves wildlife and wild lands. We do so through careful science, international conservation, education, and the management of the world's largest system of urban wildlife parks.

[World Vision] World Vision is a Christian organization dedicated to helping children and their communities worldwide reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty.
